abstract: The objective of this proposal is to reinforce the quality, effectiveness and coherence of the services provided by the EURAXESS Services Network for mobile researchers. It will achieve this objective by promoting trans-national co-operation along with identification, refinement and exchange of best practice. The actions will focus on enhancing the local and overall performance of the network and stimulate operational and strategic cooperation within the network. The project will be implemented through exchange of best practice between the members of the Network. This will be done through collecting information and experiences from all of the members. The results will be analysed and a strategy for implementation and raising awareness will be developed. Joint workshops will be used to share best practice / information and provide training, tailored to the needs of Network members. A handbook of best practice will be published. Presentation and promotion of main findings will take place at a dedicated European level conference as well as in training sessions at national and institutional level. Follow-up activities will be coordinated with the Commission and the "Charter and Code Promoters' Network" and the “Charter/Code Pioneer Institutions." The project will stimulate a better and more systematic use of the European EURAXESS Jobs Portal and the national EURAXESS portals - to enhance effectively open recruitment practices for researchers across Europe. Combined, this is expected to facilitate recruitment and mobility of researchers throughout Europe in line with the new European Partnership for Researchers for developing the European Research Area (ERA).
